As I See It
A Vision For My Wall
The inspiration for this picture came from a conversation with a client. She was looking for a specific piece of art to hang on one of her walls. What she saw in her mind's eye was soft golden sand and a large leaf plant on a sunshine drenched beach. The plant would lead you to look out onto a vast expanse of clear blue sea which merged with blue skies at its horizon.
Some time after our conversation, I was exploring the island of Antigua, the island of sun sea and sand, it has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year! It was there I saw the scene she had described.
In a world often filled with noise and chaos, the power of art lies in its ability to create a sanctuary for the soul. Inspired by a simple conversation, I embarked on a quest to capture a scene of sublime beauty. The result is a visual symphony—a blend of soft sands, vibrant foliage, and a vast expanse of clear blue sea.
